2018 Seminar Series: Core Values for Client Relationships

Core values are more than just “something that’s meaningful to you”. They are the guiding principles that dictate one’s behavior and action. This high-energy, interactive session teaches participants the tools and skills to identify other's core values by:

  • Listening to what people are saying, and not just the words they use
  • Seeing personal and environmental cues that can indicate expression of core values
  • Inquiring about values with positivity, respect, and acceptance
​With these new skills in hand, they will explore the real-world applications, including how to use values to intentionally develop stronger client and team relationships.  Following the session participants will know how to:
  • Use values with intention to develop stronger client and team relationship
  • Identify strengths and potential pitfalls of some common values
  • Leverage values to prevent or resolve conflict
